Programme Description:

This programme exposes students to the development and construction of the automobile along with the basic techniques necessary to repair basic damage. In addition, they are taught how to remove corroded areas in order to restore the vehicle to its original condition. Moreover, they are encouraged to observe and perform in a safe working environment.



Motor Vehicle Engineering Technology Theory and Practice 1

Programme Description:

This is a three semester course and is designed to give the student an overall knowledge and understanding of what goes on underneath the bonnet and how the other systems which comprise vehicles work.  This course can also be used as a step towards studying at a higher level and is therefore suitable for both the enthusiasts and the students who want a start in Motor Vehicle Engineering. This course aims to give the student a sound knowledge of the engineering or mechanics of the automobile and the basic skills to dis-assemble, examine and re-assemble the main parts of the engine and the chassis of a vehicle.
